IAAP Awards Shortlisting 2024

Who are we recognising?

Colleagues from across health, care and the VCFSE (Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise) sectors came together to judge the 2024 It's All About People Awards.

Over 50 nominations had been made so the gruelling task of getting it down to four winners was never going to be easy.

"In our eyes, every nominee deserved a prize! It was really hard to pick one over another but it was lovely to be able to see the amazing pieces of work that are going on across the county. It was equally good to see colleagues recognising each other by putting people forward for the awards. We are all thankful to those that took the time."

Kirsteen Redmile, Lead Change Manager

The 2024 awards are being presented at the annual conference in July. This year's theme is 'Our Shared Agreement' and the development of a better relationship between healthcare and the people of Lincolnshire. It was therefore key that all of the award winners demonstrated at least one of the five foundations.

The panel agreed that only what was written on the nomination form could be used in the judging process. You can see some snippets below of the kind of comments and reasons that we recieved.

We now go into hiding and keep the outcome a secret until the 3rd July. Who knows, it could be you!

"She is prepared to do things differently by using co-production approaches in addressing a health inequality."

"The team have created an environment where all patients and their families are at the centre of all decision making."

"...The service has given people hope, guidance and advice to be able to access the support that enables them to live the life that's important to them..."

"...This team is supportive, looking out for one another and supporting each other... "

"X has been making good progress in improving the services for mental health patients in our local community and making the most of local resources."
