It's All About People Conference 2024..and the launch of Our Shared Agreement!

On Wednesday 3 July, the It’s All About People Conference 2024 welcomed over 300 people to Lincolnshire Showground’s Epic Centre for a jam-packed programme of inspiring presentations, discussions, workshops, experiences, networking, and awards.
This long-awaited event brought together both those delivering and those receiving health and well-being support from across the county, all to explore and champion personalisation in health and care.
The conference also marked the official launch of Our Shared Agreement, a new movement to drive a better relationship between health and care providers and the people of Lincolnshire, and one that’s already growing in momentum.

Both Our Shared Agreement and the It’s All About People Conference have been co-produced by health and wellbeing professionals and people with lived experience.

The conference was specially designed to inspire and support delegates to further embed personalised approaches in their own practice and across the county’s health and care system. The day’s packed programme included:

A keynote speech from acclaimed patient experience advocate, Katie Clarke-Day.

A series of interactive workshops exploring Our Shared Agreement’s Five Foundations.

The It’s All About People Conference Expo: Driven by Our Shared Agreement's Foundation 5: ‘Making the most of what we have available to us’, the Expo brought together a wealth of health and care providers and innovators from across the county - 27 organisations in all! - all keen to share approaches, learning, new ideas, and experiences.

The It’s All About People Awards 2024, acknowledging and celebrating the excellent work that is already taking place in personalised care and strengths-based approaches across Lincolnshire – see the It’s All About People Award Winners 2024.

And, of course, plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow professionals and experts by experience to share stories, challenges, solutions, opportunities, and aspirations.

The It’s All About People team is working to embed person-centred approaches across Lincolnshire’s integrated health and care system. The team is made up of staff that are employed by NHS organisations, Lincolnshire County Council and the Voluntary / Community / Social Enterprise sector. Working alongside this team are a number of volunteers with lived experience of using the services in the county.
