Adult Care and Community Wellbeing (Lincolnshire County Council) are continuing to work in partnership with Every-One Lincolnshire on our co-production programme.
Through this work we have been carrying out co-production awareness sessions with teams across all service areas, focusing on the principles and values of co-production, how we aim for co-production to be embedded into everyday practice, and reframing questions from “What impact might this have on people?” to “Let’s co-produce this!”.
We have several projects that are using co-production to get things right for people, for example, reviewing the Occupational Therapy recording tools to ensure they are meaningful to people and capture what matters to them, and an opportunity for unpaid / family Carers to co-produce how Carer's Personal Budgets are delivered in Lincolnshire.
We’re always looking for people who have experience of having contact with our services to get involved in co-production so that we gain their perspective and ideas, and to make decisions with us.
We send our ‘call out’ flyers to people through our practitioner networks and the Every-One Newsletter, and if you meet people through your day-to-day work who you think might be interested in working with us through co-production, please tell them a bit about it and put them in touch by emailing co-production@every-one.org.uk or calling 01522 811582.
Our wider work is building on what we have already achieved and includes a focus on developing our Adult Care and Community Wellbeing Co-production strategy to also incorporate our system-wide work. We look forward to sharing more of that with you in the future.
Finally, our Co-production Champions are placed in key areas of the service and are developing their skills and knowledge around co-production, as well as spotting opportunities and flying the flag so please do engage with us and... “Let’s co-produce this!”
