We're recruiting people from across Lincolnshire’s health, care and wellbeing system to become Personalisation Trainers.
Do any of the following statements describe you?:
If these statements resonate with you, the Personalisation Trainer role could be just for you!
Listen to our Podcast: Ep 10. Training Others and Being a Champion, to hear Amy Garrett (Patient Safety Lead Midwife, ULHT) and Cat Howle (Cardiac Rehab Specialist Nurse, LCHS) talk passionately about their roles in delivering training and being champions of personalised approaches.
The Personalisation Trainer role involves the promotion of personalisation and strengths-based approaches via a ‘Train the Trainer’ model.
We currently have 8 trainers who work across clinical and non-clinical roles within health organisations in Lincolnshire. Each of these has gone through a training programme with TPC Health and are now confident and enthusiastic trainers.
We're looking to expand the training roles to take on the existing training of Personalised Care and Support Planning and Shared Decision-Making. But we’d also like the roles to deliver other training that we may develop around, for example, Strengths-Based Approaches, Language and Health Literacy.
If you’re successful in your application to become a Personalisation Trainer, your training will involve shadowing and being supported by the Workforce Development Lead for Personalisation and the current trainers working with our team.
The Personalisation Trainers commit to just one day per quarter at the most, although during the training period, the commitment may be more.
PLEASE NOTE: This role will form part of your current role and will not have any financial recompense, therefore we MUST have your line manager's consent before we can accept any application.
