'You make a difference' workshops for team leaders and managers - THESE WORKSHOPS ARE NOW FULLY BOOKED

There are other options to see Tommy during his Lincolnshire tour, however - click here for more details.

Tommy hosts two half-day workshops on Monday 4 November at The Showroom, Lincoln.

These interactive workshops, entitled ‘You Make a Difference’, are aimed at middle managers and team leaders and are FREE TO ATTEND.

In the workshop you'll explore:

  • What compassionate workplaces and systems should look like, and how we can get there.
  • What are our strengths and what are we already doing well?
  • What could we do differently in the future?
  • What are the barriers to better working and how we can work together to overcome these?
  • What might person-centred practice look like across different teams and settings?
  • The culture change required to embed and implement person-centred care and drive improvements in the lives of people, carers and families.

These workshops are being hosted for the first Joint Health and Care Leadership Forum.

The morning workshop runs 9.30am - 12.30pm and the afternoon workshop runs 1.30pm - 4.30pm.

The Tommy experience

Attend one of Tommy's events to discover how you can promote person-centred care in your own and your team's work and practice.

Join Tommy to explore:

  • The transformative power of person-centred care approaches within organisations and services.
  • What person-centred practice might look like across different teams and settings.
  • The culture change required to implement this approach and drive improvements in the lives of people, carers and families.

Tommy's work is led by the values and principles of the ‘What matters to you’  and ‘Intelligent Kindness’ movements. These identify active listening, kindness, and person-centredness as key to providing inclusive support and care to all individuals, as well as creating healthy working environments.

Tommy will share learning from his own experience as a carer and will help you to reflect on how you can make your workplaces, services and systems truly person-centred by asking 'what works well?’ and ‘what can we do differently in the future?’.
