Embracing Change (Individual) 

Bev Fletcher works for Lincolnshire County Council in Adult Care and is a member of the Market Rasen area team. Her colleagues describe her as 'a star' and 'an asset' as her thoughtful way makes her a kind and approachable co-worker.

Bev won this award in recognition of how she embeds strengths-based approaches within adult care. Not only does she take that approach for herself, she developed training so that there are consistent ways of working across teams. The new approach has helped to reduce case loads and waiting lists which has had a positive impact on the people that they support.

High praise is always received after people have had interactions with Bev. They are heard and come away feeling like they can do more than they first thought as she is excellent at applying strengths based approaches.
