Outstanding Contribution to Personalised Care (Individual Award)

Amy Garrett is one of our Safety Midwives in Lincolnshire and she leads on our maternity Induction of Labour and Personalised Care workstreams.  For both these areas she exemplifies commitment and innovation to co-producing and embedding a culture change across maternity services, driving forwards a more personalised approach to care for families. Amy has worked tirelessly to share her passion and vision for ‘what good looks like’ – this has involved redesigning care pathways and implementing resources for both staff and families that support personalisation and true ‘person led/directed’ maternity care. She role models and inspires the teams to reflect and adapt their own individual and team practices. The feedback from women she has worked closely with, and the feedback from all of her info gathering, surveys etc, plus the feedback on the resources she has co-produced with service users is phenomenal. She thoroughly deserves to be recognised widely for her work and efforts!
