Community-based support

Social relationships have value.

Investing in interventions that build and strengthen networks of social relationships increases the social value that is shared by people in the community, leading to improvements in wellbeing.

Social Prescribing Link Workers (SPLWs) provide an important bridge between services, the local community and voluntary sector, individuals, and mutual aid groups. They spend time talking to people and finding out what matters to them and how they want to interact with and participate in their local communities.

Connect to Support Lincolnshire is an online information and advice library, community directory, and marketplace for adults in Lincolnshire. It has directories of local groups, activities, and services within communities, and listings of community venues, buildings, and facilities.
